Regular emergency contact
We are in need for an emergency contact for the attending troop leaders to get in touch with in case there is an emergency at an event. This person would also be the head person that girls parents would contact if they needed to get ahold of their daughter at an event like Encampment.
Snack schedule
We will have a rotating snack schedule for our regular meetings. Snacks should be something that will not limit the girls to their projects they will be involved in. Just something quick, to tide them over until dinner. If you can not bring snack on the date that you are assigned, you are responsible for finding someone to trade with. Girls may bring their own beverages to keep at their seat or use the water fountain when we get a break.

Ronald McDonald tabs
Something we are continuing from troop 2428 is our Ronald McDonald tab collection. The girls are trying to meet the one million tab challenge.
Help "Pick up The Tab"
Introducing the TABS Club, and the Million Tab Challenge at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, D.C. (RMHS)!
Pop Tabs are a "friend" to RMHC. Although they are small and easily discarded, when the entire community bands together to collect them, they really add up. Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is know as the "House That Love Built" because it takes the entire community to sustain it. We consider each pop tab a little piece of love. The Pop Tabs program not only helps raise funds and awareness for RMH, but also encourages community engagement and recycling!
Thanks for "Pulling!"

Cookie News
Ms. Korff has generously agreed to be our cookie person this fall. We look forward to posting any and all information she has for us here!
SHARE
We are currently looking for a parent volunteer to handle SHARE donations. We would like a collection to be organized (for example, one troop is collecting cans to turn into cash which goes to SHARE). We would like something other than asking the parents for a monetary donation. The girls will decide in the fall the amount they would like to earn towards the project and the parent in charge would need to create a visual for the girls to monitor as they strive to meet their goal.
